The Horizon Youth Development Foundation organized a free medical day dedicated to ophthalmology and eye surgery, thanks to generous funding and strategic partnership with the Wafa Foundation for Development and Capacity Building, and hosted by the President Putin Foundation in Bethlehem. This initiative is part of a continuous series of health and humanitarian efforts aimed at promoting health awareness, supporting the most vulnerable groups, and alleviating the burdens on citizens, serving as a prelude to the implementation of the "Noor" project to support cataract surgeries for low-income families.
The medical day was carried out under specialized medical supervision led by Dr. Akram Manasra, and in cooperation with the Arab Products Company, represented by Mr. Muhammad Sbeitany, Al-Mehwar Company, represented by Mr. Rashad Ayayda, and Al-Kareem Optics, represented by Mr. Majdi Zidan. The event witnessed a wide turnout, with dozens of patients examined, comprehensive medical and laboratory eye tests conducted, in addition to assessing the health needs of each case, providing therapeutic recommendations, and referrals for necessary surgical interventions.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Fararjeh, Executive Director of AlOfoq Youth Development Foundation, affirmed that organizing this activity aligns with the humanitarian and social mission of the foundation and its continuous commitment to improving the quality of health life for citizens. Dr. Al-Fararjeh praised the continuous financial and developmental support from the Wafa Foundation for Development and Capacity Building, appreciating its funding for these programs and projects that address the direct needs of the community. He also extended his thanks to the President Putin Foundation for its gracious hosting, and to the medical staff led by Dr. Akram Manasra and all partners from supporting companies and institutions.
In turn, beneficiaries and residents expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to Al Ofoq Foundation, the "Wafa" Foundation, and all supporters, noting the tangible positive impact of this initiative in alleviating financial and health burdens on their families, and calling for the continuation and repetition of these purposeful health activities.
