Al-Ofoq organizes a dialogue session entitled "Your Voice is a Decision and Your Participation is the Future" to enhance participation in local body elections.

Al- Ofoq Foundation for Youth Development held a dialogue session at the headquarters of the Putin Foundation, entitled "Your Voice is a Decision and Your Participation is the Future," with the aim of activating and strengthening community participation in the upcoming local council elections.

The session was attended by a group of young leaders, journalists, lawyers, and experts. The attendees discussed the importance of active participation in the electoral process as a democratic right and a fundamental tool for positive change and the promotion of good governance at the local level.

The participants stressed the need to raise the level of electoral awareness among young people, and to strengthen their confidence in their role in local decision-making, in addition to the importance of the role of the media in spreading democratic culture, and intensifying legal and awareness efforts to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

The session produced a number of recommendations, most notably: Launching awareness campaigns targeting young people to encourage them to participate actively. Strengthening the partnership between civil society organizations and the media to support electoral values. Organizing meetings and educational workshops on the rights and duties of voters. Empowering young leaders to engage in local work and decision-making.

At the conclusion of the session, Al- Ofoq Foundation for Youth Development affirmed its continued efforts in organizing events and activities that promote a culture of democratic participation, believing that the voice of the citizen is the foundation for building a better future for society.
