Al Ofoq Foundation for Youth Development begins implementing a unique cultural initiative by distributing hundreds of copies of the novel "One Thousand and One Nights," as part of its ongoing efforts to promote the system of values and ethics, and raise the level of cultural awareness among children and adolescents, in line with the mission of Al- Ofoq Foundation and its core values based on belonging, excellence, and creativity.
The first phase of the initiative included SOS Children's Village, Al-Ekhaa School, the Putin Center for Martial Arts, Deheisheh Youth Center, Real Academy for Skills Development, and Al-Awائل Educational Center. The initiative received a positive response from children and beneficiary institutions, due to the educational and humanitarian values contained in this novel that contribute to the development of imagination, the promotion of positive behavior, and the consolidation of ethical principles.
Al- Ofoq Foundation affirms that this initiative comes within its vision of empowering young people culturally and cognitively, with efforts continuing during the next stage to include the distribution of more copies to many areas and centers in the Bethlehem Governorate, including its camps, cities and villages, in order to enhance the role of culture in building a conscious, creative and belonging generation to its society.
