Al Ofoq Foundation for Youth Development implemented the second meeting of psychological debriefing sessions, as part of its interest in supporting young people with disabilities and enhancing their mental health, in cooperation with the Tamkeen Association for People with Disabilities.

The session was presented by Dr. Lubna Adawi - a psychology specialist - and included a set of interactive activities aimed at promoting psychological balance and reducing stress. It also included various recreational activities that contributed to bringing joy and happiness to the participants.

This activity is part of  Al Ofoq Foundation's efforts to promote awareness of mental health, and empower young people with disabilities to express their feelings and interact positively with society.

It is noted that this meeting is the second within two weeks, during which the Foundation provided a range of supportive gifts and stationery, with the aim of strengthening the resilience of this group and contributing to improving their mental health.

The Foundation also affirmed that these programs are part of its vision aimed at empowering the groups most in need, and developing comprehensive services that contribute to their effective integration into society, through continuous partnerships with institutions working in the field of disability and mental health.

It is expected that the coming stage will witness the launch of new initiatives supporting mental health, including training and psychological and social rehabilitation, to ensure the sustainability of the positive impact that these meetings achieve on the participants and their families.
