The Al-Ofoq Foundation for Youth Development began today, Friday, November 14, 2024, the implementation of the Youth Awareness Program in collaboration with the Dheisheh Youth Club.
The first training session followed a series of meetings between the Al-Ofoqteam and the administrative board of the Dheisheh Youth Club. The two parties agreed to launch the Youth Awareness Program, which Al-Ofoq has been implementing since its establishment, aiming to raise awareness, enhance skills, and develop creative capacities. The agreed-upon program will include a series of courses focusing on life skills, online employment, drug prevention, and cybercrime.
It is noteworthy that the first meeting included a group of young men and women from the camp, representing various specializations, and centered around communication skills. The session emphasized barrier-breaking exercises, as well as the concept of communication and its importance, the characteristics of a social person, and ways to enhance public communication skills, among other topics aimed at fostering this skill, which seeks to create an active and positively influential youth generation in their community.
