Bethlehem – In a humanitarian initiative aimed at supporting needy families, the Al-Ofoq Youth Development Foundation, in collaboration with Wafa Association for Development and Capacity Building and the National Association in Deheisheh Camp, distributed food parcels to underprivileged families in Bethlehem Governorate and its surrounding areas.
This campaign aims to alleviate the economic burdens faced by needy families, especially amidst the difficult conditions the region is experiencing. The food parcels comprised a range of essential goods, along with other necessary supplies.
Campaign organizers confirmed that this initiative falls within the framework of social responsibility and the humanitarian role that institutions and charities play in supporting the less fortunate segments of society. They also noted that this campaign is not the first of its kind, as the three organizations work year-round on similar projects to support underprivileged families and empower marginalized groups.
Beneficiaries of the campaign expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this kind gesture, affirming that such initiatives contribute to strengthening the spirit of solidarity and social cooperation within the Palestinian community.
